Industrial DataOps & Unified Namespace

Model factory data once and serve it consistently to every consumer. Connect, model, condition and publish through a Unified Namespace with HighByte Intelligence Hub.

Challenges we meet most often

  1. Project-specific integrations

Every analytics or AI project gathers and prepares data from scratch; effort is duplicated and consistency is lost.

  2. Inconsistent naming

The same asset has different names in different systems, and joining the data requires manual mapping.

  3. Data quality

Noise, missing values, wrong units and stale data erode trust in analytics results.

  4. Failure to scale

A solution built without templates may work on one line but cannot be replicated to dozens of lines and plants.

Our approach

Four steps that start small, get validated and scale with templates.

  1. Connect

Sources such as OPC UA, MQTT, SQL, REST and PI System are connected with native connectors.

  2. Model

Assets are defined once with reusable templates; model validation preserves consistency.

  3. Condition

Visual pipelines filter, transform and enrich data; store-and-forward prevents data loss during outages.

  4. Publish

With the embedded MQTT broker and Sparkplug, ready data is served to all consumers from a single namespace.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Unified Namespace (UNS)?

A UNS is an architecture where enterprise data is published into one meaningful namespace (typically on an MQTT broker with an ISA-95-like hierarchy). Systems connect to that shared structure rather than to each other, which reduces point-to-point complexity.

How does DataOps differ from classic ETL?

Classic ETL usually runs in batches and targets one destination. Industrial DataOps is event-driven, preserves OT context and relies on models that are reusable for many consumers.

Is Sparkplug required for a UNS?

No. A UNS can also be built on plain MQTT and JSON. Sparkplug adds device discovery, state management and a standard payload format, improving interoperability.

Does HighByte Intelligence Hub require coding?

Connecting, modeling and building pipelines is done visually without writing code. Deployment options include Docker, Windows and Linux.
