What is ISA-95?

ISA-95 (IEC 62264) is the international standard that defines the integration of enterprise and manufacturing control systems, including a functional and equipment hierarchy.

The standard defines functional levels (Levels 0–4: process, control, supervision, manufacturing operations, business planning) and an equipment hierarchy: enterprise, site, area and work center (such as line, cell or unit).
